Live stream: President Trump and the President of the European Commission Deliver Joint Statements.
(VIDEO) EU COMMISSION PRESIDENT VISITS WHITE HOUSE
July 25, 2018 President Trump presses European Commission President on trade. The basis of the EU are farm subsidies.
Today the man Donald Trump labeled a ”brutal killer,” the top dog in the European Union, Jean Claude Juncker, takes his stuff to the White House. European Commission spokesperson Margaritis Schinas said this Wednesday’s talks between Juncker and Trump, would seek to “de-dramatize any potential tensions around trade.” Asked whether Juncker would have a specific measure that could prevent the new tariffs, she added: “There are no offers. This is a discussion, it is a dialogue and it is an opportunity to talk and to stay engaged in dialogue.” Supposedly, Juncker believes he, and he alone, can “head off a trade war”. He is walking into a literally buzz saw. The EU embodies everything that Trump’s strategy “America First” opposes. (More)
The European Union is coming to Washington tomorrow to negotiate a deal on Trade. I have an idea for them. Both the U.S. and the E.U. drop all Tariffs, Barriers and Subsidies! That would finally be called Free Market and Fair Trade! Hope they do it, we are ready - but they won’t!

BRUSSELS CAVES TO TRUMP OVER "TRADE WAR"
Trade war OVER? Brussels 'CAVES IN' to Trump as EU considers reducing US trade tariffs https://t.co/ZodYAVMD9z— Voice of Europe ๐ (@V_of_Europe) July 4, 2018
The EU operates as one trading bloc. But actually, it's just Germany the US has a gargantuan trade deficit with. European solidarity does not reach so far that the rest of the EU would risk a trade war with the Trump administration over. So this did not take long, as expected. "Brussels caves to Trump"...
Brussels officials are looking to negotiate a new deal with the US President, who is a fierce critic of the EU's trade policy. The EU currently imposes tariffs of 10 percent on imports of US-built cars, compared to Washington's 2.5 percent levy on European car imports. Any move to lower the punitive tariffs would be warmly welcomed by Mr Trump. The news comes ahead of a meeting between European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and the US leader later this month. (...) EU leaders have ruled out making major concessions to Washington, instead vowing to defend their economic interests. They signed a joint statement last week backing "safeguarding measures to protect our own markets" amid the trade war. At a meeting with Dutch leader Mark Rutte on Monday, Mr Trump said it would be "positive" if the EU trade dispute was not resolved. Mr Rutte responded bluntly: "It's not positive. We have to work something out." Meanwhile, Angela Merkel revealed Mr Juncker would "submit proposals setting out what we can do" during his meeting with Mr Trump. (More)

(VIDEO) FULL TRUMP INTERVIEW WITH MARIA BARTIROMO
July 1, 2018 President Trump's Full Interview with Maria Bartiromo.
President Trump sat down with Fox News's Maria Bartiromo for a economy oriented interview on Sunday. It is now clear not all observers understand that tariffs are not the end object of Trump trade policies. The end goal is the abolition of tariffs. When he dropped this proposal during the G7 summit, the leaders screaming the loudest quickly changed the subject. Knowing President Trump, he will reach his goal sooner or later. A day before the Dutch PM's visit to the White House the President said this (with the best intentions of course):

June 12, 2018 President Trump explains dust up with Justin.
President Trump revealed he and German Chancellor Angela Merkel were not actually in the middle of a confrontational moment when a now-viral photo was taken during the G-7 summit. (...) We have a very big trade deficit with Canada. They don’t take our farm products,” Trump told reporters. (...) The president had left the G-7 summit in agreement with the joint statement (or communique) following the summit but backed out, slamming Trudeau, after his backstabbing behavior. “When I got out to the plane, I think that Justin probably didn’t know that Air Force One has about 20 televisions. And I see the television and he’s giving a news conference about how he will not be pushed around by the United States and I say push him around? We just shook hands. (...) "he assumed I was in an airplane and I wasn’t watching," Trump continued, warning that Canadians will pay a high price for Trudeau’s actions. “That’s going to cost a lot of money for the people of Canada,” Trump said. “He learned. You can’t do that. You can’t do that.” (More)

(VIDEO) TRUMP TELLS G7: GLOBALISM IS OVER!
June 9, 2018 President Trump delivers post G7 statement.
The Quebec G7 Summit is a landmark in Globalism. Trump told the assembled leaders that "it's over". While the liberal press is painting Trump as the trade warrior, it is the President who proposed abolishing tariffs and subsidies in the G7 territories. But apparently that was not what the Globalists had in mind. They want the status quo, i.e. keep sponging off the American fat cow. Trump told them it's not going to happen anymore. After Trump left for his all important meeting with Kim Jong-un in Singapore, Justin Trudeau issued a statement that made Trump furious. He sent out following tweets:
Based on Justin’s false statements at his news conference, and the fact that Canada is charging massive Tariffs to our U.S. farmers, workers and companies, I have instructed our U.S. Reps not to endorse the Communique as we look at Tariffs on automobiles flooding the U.S. Market!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 9, 2018
PM Justin Trudeau of Canada acted so meek and mild during our @G7 meetings only to give a news conference after I left saying that, “US Tariffs were kind of insulting” and he “will not be pushed around.” Very dishonest & weak. (VIDEO) TRUMP NOT TAKEN IN BY CHINA'S PANDA FACE
April 11, 2018 Laura Ingraham talks to Gordon Chang.
(...) Historic Chinese geopolitical policy, vis-a-vis their totalitarian control over political engagement (action) and diplomacy through silence, is evident in the strategic use of the space between carefully chosen words, not just the words themselves. Each time China takes aggressive action (red dragon) China projects a panda face through silence and non-response to opinion of that action.…. meanwhile, the action continues. The red dragon has a tendency to say one necessary thing publicly, while manipulating another necessary thing privately. The Art of War. President Trump is the first U.S. President to understand how the red dragon hides behind the panda mask. It is specifically because he understands that Panda is a mask that President Trump messages warmth toward the Chinese people, and pours vociferous praise upon Xi Jinping, while simultaneously confronting the geopolitical doctrine of the Xi regime. In essence Trump is mirroring the behavior of China while confronting their economic duplicity. Peace or war. Win or lose. Yin and Yang. Culturally there is no middle position in dealings with China; they are not constitutionally capable of understanding or valuing the western philosophy of mutual benefit where concession of terms gains a larger outcome. In retaliation for $50 billion in U.S. trade tariffs against Chinese imports, China laughably hits back with $3 their own billion tariffs against the U.S. According to most reporting Beijing has selected U.S. pork and scrap aluminum as targets for a 25% tariff, along with wine and fruit tariffs around 15%. It should be emphasized the approach by China is rather ridiculous considering the Chinese government purchased the largest U.S. pork manufacturer Smithfield in 2013 for $5 billion; at the time the purchase price was 30% more than the company was worth. Smithfield, now a Chinese company, represents 25% of all U.S. pork products. Do you really think China is going to not import it’s own pork products… or subject them to a domestic tax? Think about it. It’s ridiculous. China knows they have ZERO leverage in a trade-dispute with the U.S., they cannot afford to lose access to the U.S. market. (More)
