Jeb Bush denies BBC claim that he ordered the dirty dossier - so if it wasn't him, who paid the shadowy research firm which started filth file two years ago?
  • Washington-based opposition research firm, FusionGPS, was hired in 2015
  • One of Trump’s Republican detractors is said to have paid the company
  • Initially FusionGPS was asked to look into Trump's business dealings
  • But the research angle changed after DNC hacking emerged in June 2016
  • FusionGPS then contracted ex-MI6 officer Chris Steele's Orbis company
  • Steele had gold-plated contacts in Moscow from years of spying on Russia
  • Democrats took over funding the investigation into Trump (More

⏩ Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee violated campaign finance law by failing to disclose payments for a dossier on Donald Trump, according to a complaint filed Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission. The complaint from the nonprofit Campaign Legal Center said the Democrats effectively hid the payments from public scrutiny, contrary to the requirements of federal law. By law, campaign and party committees must disclose the reason money is spent and its recipient. (More)

⏩ As previously reported, the DNC responded to WaPo’s bombshell report claiming the DNC was involved in the funding of the debunked dossier through a spokesperson. It appeared that the DNC was throwing Wasserman Schultz under the bus in their response. “Tom Perez and the new leadership of the DNC were not involved in any decision-making regarding Fusion GPS, nor were they aware that Perkins Coie was working with the organization.” DNC’s deputy chairman Keith Ellison also threw Wasserman Schultz under the bus by distancing himself from the old DNC leadership: (More)

⏩ Sen. Charles E. Grassley said Thursday that he suspects a coverup in the Trump dossier. “I suggested that we need more information from the standpoint of my relative suspicion of bureaucrats, generally, that if there’s something if they don’t want — is going to embarrass them — they don’t want that information out,” Mr. Grassley, Iowa Republican, said on Fox News. “That wouldn’t be just this last Justice Department. That would be my feeling toward government bureaucracy, generally.” Mr. Grassley, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee, was discussing the Trump Russian dossier, which has now been linked to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Oct. 24, 2017 Fox News: Sean Hannity.

It took a report by the Washington Post yesterday to confirm what many have known for months -- that a Rep. Presidential candidate (Jeb Bush) commissioned opposition smear factory Fusion GPS , and that the DNC and the Clinton campaign took it up and paid for it after Trump won the nomination. It was at this stage that former MI6 head of the Russia Desk, Christopher Steele was tapped to dig up dirt on candidate Trump. And now the entire "Trump colluded with Russia" cabal is crashing down. Listen Rush Limbaugh Oct. 25.

Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson was contacted by an insider who explained how the shoe is on the other foot: Paul Manafort is indeed involved, but not in his capacity as Trump campaign manager (video).

Prior to his brief involvement with the Trump campaign, Manafort was working with the Podesta Group, that acted on behalf of Russia to influence Clinton as Secretary of State. According to Daily Caller reports (source) they achieved their goal, until Obama intervened. John Podesta of course was Hillary Clinton's close associate and campaign director. (More)

After months of caterwauling from Clinton and the Democrats about Trump and Russian collusion it has transpired that Hillary hired the same oppo research company -- Fusion GPS -- that Putin used to smear the Russian dissident, Magnitsky. Hillary, with the knowledge of the FBI and the CIA, both parties (e.g. John McCain handing a copy to FBI director James Comey) and British Intelligence, colluded for the smear "dossier" that was treated as genuine intel such, that it was the basis for the FISA backed wiretapping of Trump Tower, all in a scheme to steal the election from Donald Trump.

The [Washington] Post report provides possible answers to other questions, too. Because Clinton’s team paid for the dossier, it’s likely that she gave it to the FBI, where James Comey planned to hire the former British agent who had compiled it to keep digging dirt on Trump. The finding also raises the possibility that the dossier is what led the Obama White House to snoop on members of Trump’s team, and leak the “unmasked” names to the anti-Trump media in a bid to help Clinton. In short, we now have compelling evidence that the dossier was the largest and dirtiest dirty trick of the 2016 campaign. And Clinton, who has played the victim card ever since her loss, was behind it the whole time. Anybody surprised? Me neither. (More)
So how come WaPo suddenly broke this open? Trump did:

Jacob Wohl is the CEO of Montgomery Assets and Executive Editor of Offended He has been investigating the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller’s complex financial entanglements include investments linked to George Soros and Russia.
During Mueller’s tenure at the FBI, high profile cases of financial wrongdoing within hedge funds that he invested in were ignored by federal law enforcement. An Offended America investigation has revealed that Robert Mueller’s holdings in a fund of funds expose him to Russian investments and to hedge funds tied to George Soros. Mueller’s exclusive hedge funds were not open to the general public, but rather wealthy private accredited investors. The minimum investment in several of the funds is $10 Million. Mueller’s Russian Financial Interests Mueller has been an investor in Mellon Optima L/S Strategy Fund, LLC for many years, according to his financial disclosures. That fund consists of holdings of other hedge funds in a structure commonly referred to as a “fund of funds”. (More)

Tony Podesta and his firm, the Podesta Group, are now under federal investigation by FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller in connection with the Russia investigation, three sources told NBC News. The Podesta Group was subpoenaed in late August along with four other public relations firms who worked with former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort during a 2012-2014 lobbying effort for a pro-Ukraine think tank – the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine (ECMU) – tied to former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych. Yanukovych fled from Ukraine to Russia after he was unseated in a 2014 coup. Two of the subpoenaed firms include Paul Manafort’s Mercury, LLC and the Podesta Group, founded by John and Tony Podesta and operated by the latter. Manafort’s firm earned $17 million between 2012 – 2014 consulting for Yanukovych’s centrist, pro-Russia ‘Party of Regions.’ During the same period, Manafort oversaw a lobbying campaign for the pro-Russia “Centre for a Modern Ukraine,” a Brussels based think tank linked to Yanukovych which was pushing for Ukraine’s entry into the European Union. The Podesta group, operating under Manafort, earned over $1.2 million as part of that effort. In a statement to NBC, a spokesman for the Podesta Group said the firm “is cooperating fully with the Special Counsel’s office and has taken every possible step to provide documentation that confirms timely compliance. Aug 25, 2017 On Friday Rep. Rohrabacher joined Tucker Carlson to discuss his meeting with Julian Assange.

Last week Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) met with Julian Assange in a three hour meeting private gathering at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. (...) Rohrabacher said, “Julian emphatically stated that the Russians were not involved in the hacking or disclosure of those emails.” Pressed for more detail on the source of the documents, Rohrabacher said he had information to share privately with President Trump. “Julian also indicated that he is open to further discussions regarding specific information about the DNC email incident that is currently unknown to the public,” he said. (...) Rep. Rohrabacher: He was adamant that the Russians played no role in the disclosure of the Democratic National Committee their emails that were exposed during the election. They played no role… The liberal left in this country had every reason to lie about it… The whole thing is a fraud, is a con job. (Source)

In a major development, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange told Rep. Dana Rohrabacher that he is ready to provide information proving Russia did not hack the Democratic National Committee. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a California Republican who is friendly to Russia and chairs an important House subcommittee on Eurasia policy, became the first American congressman to meet with Assange during a three-hour private gathering at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where the WikiLeaks founder has been holed up for years, Rohrabacher recounted his conversation with Assange to The Hill. “Our three-hour meeting covered a wide array of issues, including the WikiLeaks exposure of the DNC emails during last year’s presidential election,” Rohrabacher said, “Julian emphatically stated that the Russians were not involved in the hacking or disclosure of those emails.

Pressed for more detail on the source of the documents, Rohrabacher said he had information to share privately with President Donald Trump. “Julian also indicated that he is open to further discussions regarding specific information about the DNC email incident that is currently unknown to the public,” he added. As TGP previously reported, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange told John Pilger in an exclusive interview that it wasn’t Russia who hacked into the DNC and Clinton staff emails. (More)

The witch hunt of the Special Counsel that is looking for a crime without evidence like any commie banana republic, is now leaking to the media and is out of control. To say it is acting beyond its mandate would be misstating the situation, as the confines have never been stipulated by DAG Rosenstein: the operation has no parameters, has unlimited funds and does not even have a time constraint. Muller is running the most expensive and vast opposition research on Trump for 2020 at no cost to Democrats but at vast expense to the tax payer. President Trump should fire DAG Rosenstein, as well as his BFF Mueller!
The team charged with investigating whether there was any collusion between President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia now appears to be leaking details of the probe to damage him. “A person familiar with the probe” told Bloomberg that the special counsel is examining a broad range of transactions involving Trump and his associates’ businesses.
The leak comes the day after Trump told the New York Times in an interview that delving into his business matters would be outside the bounds of the Russia investigation. “The Special Counsel’s Office has undertaken stringent controls to prohibit unauthorized disclosures that deal severely with any member who engages in this conduct,” Joshua Stueve, spokesman for the Special Counsel’s Office told Breitbart News in an email response.
The team is led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller, and four of the six attorneys on the team donated to the Democratic National Committee or Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to Axios. (...)
Specifically, the person told Bloomberg that investigators are looking at Russian purchases of apartments in Trump buildings, and Trump’s involvement in a “controversial SoHo development” with Russian associates, the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow, and Trump’s sale of a Florida mansion to a Russian oligarch in 2008. NYT Drops Another Friday Leak
Fake News WaPo dropped another Deep State leak Friday afternoon to juice up the Russian hysteria as they claim AG Jeff Sessions spoke to a Russian envoy twice during the 2016 presidential election. Russian envoy Sergey Kislyak’s accounts of two conversations with Jeff Sessions, who was at the time a Senator from Alabama, were intercepted by U.S. spy agencies, according to WaPo. This is only further proof that Obama was spying on and unmasking GOP lawmakers during the 2016 presidential election. (More)

Jul 20, 2017 George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley weighs in on the conflicts of interest in the Special Counsel on Russia.

UPDATE: Yesterday the President's frustration with his disappointing judicial appointments -- AG Sessions and DAG Ron Rosenstein -- boiled over in an interview with the NYT, where he set a red line for Special Counsel Robert Mueller, warning against digging into his family finances beyond the Russia scope and suggesting he’ll soon start talking about the ex-FBI director’s “conflicts.” The president has regularly complained about the Russia meddling probe, before and after it was placed in the hands of the special counsel. But his comments to The New York Times indicate he’s preparing to get even more aggressive in challenging the credibility of the investigation. Significantly, he said Mueller would cross a red line if he started looking at Trump family finances going beyond any Russia connection. ''I think that's a violation. Look, this is about Russia,” Trump said. The interview leaves unclear under what circumstances, if any, he might order the Justice Department to fire Mueller.

But he complained anew that the special counsel was hiring lawyers who donated to his general election rival Hillary Clinton and called him out for having interviewed for the job to replace ex-FBI Director James Comey just before his appointment. ''He was up here and he wanted the job,'' Trump told the Times. The president said after Mueller was named, he said to himself, “'What the hell is this all about?' Talk about conflicts. But he was interviewing for the job. There were many other conflicts that I haven't said, but I will at some point.''

In the same interview, Trump also issued a remarkable denunciation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, one of his earliest and staunchest supporters, for having recused himself in the Russia case. "How do you take a job and then recuse yourself?" Trump asked rhetorically. "If he would have recused himself before the job, I would have said, 'Thanks, Jeff, but I’m not going to take you.'" (...)

In a separate interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum on “The Story,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein defended his selection of Mueller to lead the probe. “I've got to explain that I made the decision to appoint Director Mueller based upon his reputation. He had an excellent reputation. Really bipartisan support for his integrity,” he said. (More)

Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein said: “Director Mueller is not reporting to me about individual decisions made in his investigation.” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch: "Which is why the Mueller special counsel operation may be unconstitutional. There were more revelations.

The revelations concerning Don Jr's meeting and the machinations at the DNC are piling up. Here's the latest developments.
↔ The Russian translator, Anatoli Samochornov at the Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump Jr. worked with the State Department and the FBI during Robert Mueller’s tenure as Director of the Bureau, according to documents obtained by True Pundit. Samochornov has worked as an intelligence attache and translator for the United States in varying capacities for years. In 2010, while Mueller was FBI Director. (More)

↔ Ex Soviet spook Rinat Akhmetshin's visited the Obama White House on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Akhmetshin made appointment number U62511 at 12:00 pm on January 2, 2016 through the Visitors Office. (More) Rinat is a self admitted Russian Intelligence Officer as confirmed by The United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, which the information is available here.

↔ Byron York is reminding us of Hillary's 33,000 destroyed emails from her private server. (More) The piece mentions the curious case of a Republican named Peter W. Smith who made some sort of effort last summer to find the missing Clinton emails, apparently getting in touch with hackers, some of whom may have been Russian. But nothing came of it, and no evidence has emerged that Smith was connected to the Trump campaign.
Peter Smith killed himself days after an interview with The Wall Street Journal in which he said he sought out Russian hackers to try to retrieve some 33,000 deleted Clinton emails and pass them to Michael Flynn, then a campaign adviser to Donald Trump. Death records from Minnesota show that Smith, 81, died in a hotel of "asphyxiation due to displacement of oxygen in confined space with helium" on May 14.
Smith was found with a note that said there was 'NO FOUL PLAY WHATSOEVER' was involved in his death, and said he took his own life because of a 'RECENT BAD TURN IN HEALTH SINCE JANUARY, 2017' and because he 'LIFE INSURANCE OF $5 MILLION (was) EXPIRING'. (...)
The new details emerged after Smith's piece in the Journal stated he was convinced emails missing from Clinton's server were in the hands of hackers. Smith also told the Journal he believed hackers had Hillary's missing emails, and his team of sleuths had made contact with five groups - including two from Russia - that claimed to have them in their possession.  (More

↔ Peter Smith is not the only one on the Clinton body count. The skeletons keep falling out of the closet.

↔ In other news court papers recently filed in London provide new details about the opposition research firm Fusion GPS and former British spy Christopher Steele. Fusion GPS and Steele, who runs the London-based firm, Orbis Business Intelligence, collaborated to produce a 35-page dossier of research about President Trump’s financial and political ties to Russia. Steele and Orbis are currently being sued in the U.S. and U.K. by Aleksej Gubarev, a Russian tech executive who says he was falsely accused in the dossier of hacking the Democratic National Committee’s email systems. McClatchy News recently reported that Steele filed new documents in that lawsuit. (...)

The filing also goes into detail about Arizona Sen. John McCain’s handling of the dossier. The Republican first learned about the report in November. He dispatched a former State Department official, David Kramer, to fly to London in late-November to retrieve a copy of the dossier from Steele. He later shared the dossier with then-FBI Director James Comey during a meeting in December. On Jan. 6, Comey briefed then-President-Elect Trump on some of the claims in the dossier. Several days later, BuzzFeed News published the document. (More)

There are reports that there was an eighth person at the meeting between a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and Don Jr. Now this is after already discovering that there was a seventh person, her standard interpreter, who is a State Dept. staffer and ex FBI program officer. So present were, Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, Jared Kushner, the lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, her interpreter Anatoli Samochornov, the British publicist Rob Goldstone, and the Azerbaijan rock star Emin Agalarov. And the eighth man, Rinat Akhmetshin. The Washington Post reported:
“Akhmetshin, a U.S. citizen, was lobbying at the time against U.S. sanctions imposed on Russia for human rights violations.” “A lawyer for Donald Trump Jr., could not confirm Akhmetshin’s attendance but said there was an additional participant, whom he declined to identify.”
This was clearly intended to implicate Donald Trump Jr. as per meeting with Russian officials who were seeking a “pay for play” return in order for the Trump family to gain knowledge about Hillary Clinton, suggesting that somehow if Trump were elected the Administration would ease sanctions on Russia in exchange for the information provided.

However here's the fun part that WaPo failed to mention to the public, Rinat Akhmetshin, actually met in the White House with Barack Obama himself (on Saturday, January 9, 2016). (Source) This visit should have lasted approximately 14 hours. Rinat is a self admitted Russian Intelligence Officer as confirmed by The United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, which the information is available here.

Veselnitskaya as well as the "Soviet Spy" Rinat Akhmetshin worked for pro-Clinton Fusion GPS and was hired by Democrats. (Tweet) The group is behind the discredited Trump Dossier compiled by Steele. It was established by former Wall Street Journal reporters Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch. Simpson just cancelled his testimony before Congress next week. (More) Charges that members of the Clinton campaign were in cahoots with a far left opposition research and propaganda firm it is becoming more and more apparent that many of the false stories that Fusion GPS was pushing came directly from the Kremlin.

Newly-released British court documents show that Fusion GPS (...) successfully managed to get a former spy Christopher Steele to compile the now-infamous dossier containing unproven allegations against President Trump and to discuss the phony foreign intelligence with The New York Times, The Washington Post, Yahoo News, The New Yorker, Mother Jones and CNN. Fusion GPS is (...) funded by Hillary Clinton supporters  (...) and was on the payroll of an unidentified Democratic ally of Clinton. In 2012, Democrats hired Fusion GPS to uncover dirt on GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney. And in 2015, Democratic ally Planned Parenthood retained Fusion GPS to investigate pro-life activists protesting the abortion group.

The most under covered story of Russia Gate is the interconnection between the Clinton campaign, an unregistered foreign agent of Russia headquartered in DC (Fusion GPS), and the Christopher Steele Orbis dossier. This connection has raised the question of whether Kremlin prepared the dossier as part of a disinformation campaign to sow chaos in the US political system. If ordered and paid for by Hillary Clinton associates, Russia Gate is turned on its head as collusion between Clinton operatives (not Trump’s) and Russian intelligence. Russia Gate becomes Hillary Gate.

Neither the New York Times, Washington Post, nor CNN has covered this explosive story. Two op-eds have appeared in the Wall Street Journal (Holman Jenkins and David Satter). The possible Russian-intelligence origins of the Steele dossier have been raised only in conservative publications, such as in The Federalist and National Review. (More)

Obama wiretaps, FISA Courts and Loretta Lynch
Jack Posobiec yesterday broke the news that Paul Manafort's phone was wiretapped at the time of the meeting in June. The same time the first FISA warrant was applied for. This was declined by the FISA Court. This means the wire tap was illegal. (Periscope)

Yesterday, multiple news agencies and President Trump all stated that Veselnitskaya was granted special permission to enter the US by Attorney General Lynch after her visa had been initially blocked.” (More

Illegal FISA transcripts of the meeting in June 2016 may have also served the basis of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, now headed by Bob Mueller.

Other senior members of the Trump campaign may have participated in the meeting via conference call. What this implies is that the Obama Administration not only knew about the meeting prior to its occurrence, but that Loretta Lynch violated the law in ordering the wiretap of Manafort’s phone.

Back in June of 2016, the FISA court denied Obama’s request, so by ordering the wiretap Lynch defied this order from the courts. Thus violating federal law and also assisting in the interference of the United States Democratic electoral process. The Obama Administration clearly interfered in the election by setting up a scripted meeting with Russian Intelligence and the Trump family / future Administration, and then broke the law to wiretap those involved in the meeting’s phones. Who granted Veselnitskaya's visa?
A brief timeline released overnight helps to resolve questions over how Natalia Veselnitskaya even had legal permission to be in the U.S. And it also shows multiple Obama agencies were involved on multiple occasions in granting access to the lawyer after she was initially denied a visa. Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara initially allowed the attorney to work in the U.S., then denied an extension.

According to the timeline released by the Department of Homeland Security, the Obama Justice and Homeland Security departments granted her a special type of “parole” to be in the U.S. from September 2015 through February 2016 to work on a court case in New York. After that expired, according to DHS, the State Department issued her a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa in June 2016, according to DHS, just in time for her meeting with Trump Jr., Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort. (More)

Why was Veselnitskaya in the US?
Veselnitskaya was working as an attorney for a Cyprus-based real estate holdings company called Prevezon, run by Denis Katsyv, son of Pyotr Katsyv, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest advisers, and was given “unlimited resources” by the Kremlin-connected group to run a campaign to get the Magnitsky Act repealed, Fox News reported Wednesday. The Magnitsky Act enacts sanctions on certain Russian officials as a punishment for human rights violations.

Jul 11, 2017 Donald Trump Jr. talks to Sean Hannity on Fox News.

The crux of the accusation against Don Jr. is that he met with the Russian honeypot Natalya Veselnitskaya knowing that the incriminating  information came from the Kremlin. We know this because the man who brokered the meeting -- a slob either referred to as a "British music publisher" or a "tabloid guy" named Rob Goldstone -- said so. He heard it from the father of a client, Russian popstar Emin Agalarov, who is a "Russian oligarch close to Putin". This Aras Agalarov suggested that "a chief prosecutor in Russia" offered "documents and information that would incriminate Hillary Clinton" (N.B. Not in order to rig the elections!). After releasing the entire email chain on Twitter, Don Jr. went on the record last night with Hannity. During the meeting it became apparent that the so called Kremlin emissary Veselnitskaya had nothing to contribute and that was the end of 20 wasted minutes as far as Don Jr. was concerned. Never Trumpers believe that Don Jr. should have called in the FBI before the meeting instead of checking it out for himself. This is a weak point. But from a legal point of view there's simply nothing there. Even if there was such a thing as collusion, that's not a criminal legal concept.

In the meantime the entire episode is starting to have all the hallmarks of s setup. The Russian lawyer's Facebook page is testimony, not of Kremlin loyalty, but on the contrary to anti Trump and anti Putinism. She's on a photo during a congressional Foreign Affairs hearing on Russia policy, a week after the meeting with Don Jr. as the guest of Obama's Russian Ambassador Michael McFaul. She posted pictures on her Facebook of the anti Trump Chicago woman's march and a picture of neocon John McCain with Mark Feygin, a well-known Soros funded anti Putin lawyer, who was also involved in the infamous Fusion UPS "dossier" (here about John McCain's involvement with the "dossier"). Veselnitskaya was originally denied a visa, but she was admitted into the US nevertheless. Was she registered as a foreign agent? Senator Grassley is checking it out. Mr Goldstone meantime has been caught on pictures in various frivolous situations, one with anti Trump humorist Cathy Griffin. Something smells decided fishy here! The weakness in the entire narrative is the following: if Trump is colluding with Putin and they have supposed backchannel communications, why did Don Jr. have to meet with a honeypot brokered by a British slob and a Russian pop star and his dad?
