In an undercover Project Veritas journalist asks Miranda if foreign governments pressure Twitter to ban certain people in their countries. Miranda initially tells the Project Veritas journalist that he "cannot disclose that information." Another Project Veritas journalist met with Miranda on January 1, 2018. He also reveals some of the pressures that China in particular puts on Twitter if they do not comply.

Some tweeps have been posing the legal question, what about the protection of teens and minors. A third of teens from the age of 13 are on Twitter according to Pew and 42% of 15-17 year olds. In another study from the University of Utah, 41% of teen boys and 30% of girls are reported to be receiving “sexts” online. Pedophilia is referring to prepubescent children, but we're still talking about minors. Both are federal offenses and keeping nude picture of minors on servers is illegal. No reaction about that from Twitter today.

The engineers also admit that Twitter analyzes this information to create a "virtual profile" of you which they sell to advertisers. This video is so egregious, @jack will have to address it.

James O’Keefe has just completed a book about this series entitled "AMERICAN PRAVDA: My fight for Truth in the Era of Fake News." The book will be released by St. Martin’s Press on January 16, 2018. Pre-order the book:

Conservatives and Christians have long suspected that Twitter works aggressively behind the scenes to censor their material. That suspicion has now been confirmed in an undercover investigation involving numerous Twitter employees who let slip what really happens behind the scenes of the mega social media platform. A Project Veritas (PV) report released this week zeroes in on Twitter's little-known practice of “shadow banning,” which turns out to be a rather surreptitious, stealth method of censorship. (More)

Twitter denied ‘shadowbanning accounts, however; they did admit to taking action to ‘downrank’ accounts they deem abusive. So who decides what is abusive? Aren’t abusive users removed from the site altogether? (More)
