The massacre at The Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida is the worst mass shooting in US history, resulting in 50 dead and 53 injured. The 29 year old terrorist, Omar Mateen was the New York born son of Afghan parents. He swore allegiance to the ISIS Caliphate. His father is up to his eyeballs in AfPak politics.

UPDATE: After global media reports, a front-page story on The Drudge Report and globally-trending hashtags, Twitter reinstated the account of Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos less than an hour after his account was initially suspended. The suspension followed Milo’s announcement that he planned to give a press conference and short talk on Islam and Gays in Orlando, Florida, the site of a deadly Muslim terrorist attack on a gay dance club. In the wake of his suspension, Twitter was subject to a massive backlash from conservaive media and Twitter users, which resulted in the #FreeNero and #FreeMilo hashtags trending globally. (More)

The Dutch triggered a referendum to reject the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement (wiki) following  a petition organized by the Right wing Democrat website GeenStijl.NL. It was held on April 6. George Soros funded a Liberal Conservative publisher to combat the grassroots initiative. The treaty with Ukraine was rejected by 64% of the vote.

UPDATE: Unbeknownst Dutch PM Mark Rutte is making the argument why democracy at the supra national level can't work. The voters of one country can hold all other member states hostage. No country is free to set its own course. No one should want this kind of interdependence. We should get out of this euro tyranny now.

The Muslim Mayor of London teamed up with feminazis to ban ads in public transport that glorify the female body. Far from uplifting, these are considered "demeaning". Striving for an ideal is "pressurizing" women into unrealistic expectations. But that is the feminazi narrative. For the mayor this is simply an opportunity to bring London into compliance with Islamic morality law.

Sadiq Khan, London’s first Muslim mayor, announced Monday that “body shaming” advertisements will no longer be allowed in London’s public transport. “As the father of two teenage girls, I am extremely concerned about this kind of advertising which can demean people, particularly women, and make them ashamed of their bodies. It is high time it came to an end,” Khan said. The mayor added, “Nobody should feel pressurised, while they travel on the Tube or bus, into unrealistic expectations surrounding their bodies and I want to send a clear message to the advertising industry about this.” Khan was not clear in what would determine which ads would be banned, as it doesn’t include all images of people in underwear or swimming clothes.

It's painful to watch liberals desperately trying to avoid having to lay blame for the Islamic terror attack on the gay nightclub in Orlando, where blame is due. Muslims are at the very top of the food chain of liberal protection groups. LGBTs -- like women and the middle class before them --  will simply have to accept they've been tossed under the bus.

50 homosexuals were just gunned down by an Muslim, but the Left are clueless what to make of it. Or they pretend to be. It's almost painful watching the Left struggling, struggling for answers how a Muslim can be a "bigot" at the same time? But it is one thing to delude yourself into believing that if you love client groups enough, all will happily coexist in peace just because you wish it so. Quite another is attacking and silencing opposing minorities, of which this is a ripe example: an LBGT tweep in Egypt who's translating hate speech and texts from the Muslim world so that we all know what the root cause of hate gay campaign is.

The 64th annual, globalist Bilderberg confab 2016 will be held from Thursday June 9 to Sunday June 12 at the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski in Dresden, Germany. This year's meeting is crucial, as well for the globalists themselves, as well as for us, their subjects.

Jun 11, 2016 Billionaire Globalists Pursued Relentlessly At Bilderberg.

UPDATE: John Elkann, heir to the Fiat empire and Alexander Carp CEO of Palantir Corp are relentlessly pursued by master confronter journalist Tilman Knchtel. The Guardian has an atmospheric piece on the continued news blackout.
(...) I suppose it would be acceptable, just about, if NBC, Bloomberg and the Financial Times – which have journalists inside Bilderberg – were in Dresden covering the summit. But they are not. I spoke to BBC television news about a week before the conference began, to ask if it was sending anyone along. The journalist I contacted sighed and explained why not. “The thing is, we’re sending so many people to the Euros,” they said. (...) For journalists, Bilderberg is the polar opposite of a G7 jolly or a giant sporting jamboree. No goodie bags or free champagne bar here, just police cordons, mobile phone jamming and the chance to get jabbed in the arm by overzealous Turkish secret service operatives, as happened to my wife. Everyone’s mobile is blocked here. (More)

ARCHIVE TAHARRUSH RAPE: Jan. 4 - June 10, 2016

To Live Blog

June 10, 2016

Islam induced misogynic 'rape game', taharrush gamea exerts extreme social pressure on women to conform to the demands of Muslim society.

Vigorously denied claims that recently arrived migrants were behind the Cologne mass sexual assaults have now been proven. (...) Many described the men who had assaulted them as “North African or Arab origin”. Conscious to defend Germany’s policy on mass migration and the highly-vaunted ‘culture of welcome’ the country was rolling out to all-comers, many vigorously denied the attacks, which ranged from rape, to sexual assault, and theft, had anything to do with the migrant crisis. (...) Yet today German regional newspaper the Rheinische Post reports the eyewitness accounts were “largely consistent with the recent results of the investigations”. The new statistics and facts confirm not only that the majority of men committing the assaults were not of “German origin”, but that most of them had been in the country less than twelve months. Despite their recent arrival to Germany, a remarkable two-thirds had already received the attention of the police for criminal behaviour. (More)

It didn't take long before false information was emerging over the terrible events. Just three of 58 suspects are migrants, according to the British Independent. The disinformation was soon disseminated by journalists and pundits across Sweden, accusing dissenters of 'racism'. Rossana Dinamarca of Vänster, a Swedish Leftist party could only find one common denominator, "men". Last Thursday the German state Nordrhein Westphalia released its final report based on 1178 hours of surveillance material. It confirms widespread abuse of women. It found as many as 1,218 victims of which 529 of sexual assault. Almost all suspects, 149 of 153 are migrants. Most of them are from Morocco and Algeria. 68 are asylum seekers, 18 are illegals and the status of 47 is unknown, meaning they could be either legal or illegal. Four are unaccompanied minors, ten have been given a residence status. Walll Street Journal concluded: Nearly all the suspects in the mass sexual assaults and thefts that occurred in Cologne on New Year’s Eve were migrants and asylum seekers. The Federal police force investigating the 'rape game' has now figured out that, since it occurred all over Germany and locally in Sweden, Austria and Switzerland, some coordination must have taken place. The morons on the Left have been fast to conclude, that since it's a 'game' there must be some cultural component involved. (Source) And since we know that all cultures are equal, nothing untoward can have happened. As far as the moron brigade is concerned: been there, done that.

The German police have confrmed that the phenomenon of mass sexual assault is known in the Middle East as 'taharrush'. H/t @MountainLion5
The German federal police (BKA) has issued a statement that the Arab phenomenon of mass sexual assault is known by the term 'taharrush'. The attacks may be anything from sexual molestation to rape, according to Holger Münch, head of the BKA. In the 'rape game' a large group of men surround the victim, usually a Western woman or a woman deemed Western, is subjected to sexual humiliation. If there are enough participants the woman is carried along the way while the men rip off her clothes, grope her and push their fingers in any orifice they may find. The BKA yessterday informed the German publication Die Welt about the growing phenomenon of organized cruelty against German women. In addition to cases in Cologne, the police has also received reports from Berlin, Hamburg, Bielefelt, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart. Cases have also been reported in Vienna and Salzburg in Austria and Zurich in Switzerland. The crimes are committed by groups of foreign men, particularly during festivals or protests when large groups of people gather. The BKA is considering a nationwide strategy how to cope with this new form of mass sexual attack on women. (Source) (Original source)

The sign says: "Respect us. We are not wild animals for the taking, even in the nude."

Only now does it transpire that mass sexual assault has taken place all over the European continent. Often refugees are among the arrested (if any), but cultural Jihadists cannot be excluded. By its mass nature, it is evident that some coordination must have taken place. A frequent argument is that Muslim women have also been attacked. This is highly suspect though. It is very unlikely that respectable Muslim women were present at the festivities without male company. If they were, they can't have been veiled. That is precisely the point of these assaults. Western women are forced to change their free lifestyle and adopt Islamic practices.

Migrants robbing and assaulting Germans with impunity.

A German crime journalist has been pointing to "a group" of criminal refugees as the perpetrators of New Year's Eve's sex mob attacks. A Flemish news outlet is mentioning "dance mobs". That sort of framing is a problem for a number of reasons. We have seen the same happening with the scapegoating of Al Qaeda and ISIS: a person or a group is accused and every bit of trouble is hence on attributed to this scapegoat, while the actual perps get a free pass. This framing (theme) might well  mean the end of the investigation. Case closed. Reputation of Islam and migrants come out unscathed. Another way of framing this story is to concentrate on the aspect of male virility, taking the attention away from the politically incorrect cultural and sociological background.

The debate on the cover up of the events that have taken place in Cologne, Stuttgart, Bielefeld and Hamburg is gathering steam. It is highly unlikely that authorities have not been able to produce any CCTV or security camera footage. But here's also the danger of taking the attention away from the actual perps and their motivation.

A number of German citizens is going vigilante. The first patrol is hitting the streets of Dusseldorf this Saturday. Law enforcement is not happy about it. But it's what you get when the citizens are not protected by the Government. Self-defense is an inalienable human right that derives from the right to life.

The Dutch PM is refusing to mention the perps or their motivation, since that would be provocative to Muslims. This is leading to a vicious cycle. Fascists see the lack of push back as an encouragement. Funny enough, the Dutch PM is not wrong. An open letter of a apostate Muslim states:
Do not forget your Dutch compatriots will never accept you as you are (...) society and the Government will try to assimilate you with a velvet glove.  (Source
Infidels hate us and acting against us proves it. This is of course absurd paranoia! You can't let this prevent you from mentioning the perps or what motivates them. If we are unable to define the enemy we are powerless against terrorism. Capitulation is not a survival strategy. Yet this is what Governments are doing the world over. The source of this BS is postmodern subjectivism. Objective reality isn't leading the strategy, but the perception of the enemy. This is how we are waging war against ISIS. It's a recipe for defeat.

The Mayor of Cologne has suggested that local women observe a “Code of Conduct” so that they can avoid a repeat of New Year’s Eve when dozens were molested, mugged and, in at least one case, allegedly raped by an organised gang of around 1000 migrants from the Religion of Peace, Harmony and Social Cohesion (TM). (...) Today Breitbart offers a sneak preview of the kind of “code of conduct” this impeccably progressive mayor might have in mind. 1. Dress modestly at all times. 2. Rape is not always rape. 3 The tradition of hospitality. 4. We are Germans. Everything is our fault. 5. Learn Arabic; convert to Islam; renounce ‘bier’ and ‘bratwurst’. 6 C’mon. You’ve got to admit they’ve got the Jews right, at least. 7. Finally, if all else fails… Islam is a religion with a strong tradition of truth, beauty and reason. Read at all!

Dec 28, 2015 This man still walks free after the group rape of a virgin. Not a recent arrival, but a "well integrated" Muslim. (Read more)

UPDATE: Initially the police covered the case up. But due to its organized and massive nature thought better of it and made the details public. This confirms our suspicion that much more is being covered up than we know. Sweden comes to mind. (Source) The authorities are well aware of course. Yet they continue the open borders policy: manipulation of the facts of reality (so that the critics of the "far Right" are not justified) is taking priority over their first duty of protecting the citizens. Reports have been coming in from Sweden and the UK for years! Read all about it on the Sexual Jihad Live Blog (source) Many are in denial of the events in Cologne, Stuttgart
Bielefeld, and Hamburg during New Year's Eve. Some deny they ever happened, others maintain the "far right" is making them up. This deep denial of the facts of reality requires a very disturbing state of psychopathology. It is described by the dissident KGB defector Yuri Besmenov when he talks about the state of mind on the part of Soviet collaborators. (Source) Recommended, well worth the watch.

Cologne's Uber Mayor: "Young women should prepare themselves and learn how to conduct themselves".

Jan. 4, 2016

An appalling case of Sexual Jihad on New Year's Eve in Cologne, Germany -- as far as we know the first such a case of mass sexual assault in the country. It's reminiscent of the organized rape on Tahrir Square in Cairo during the Arab Spring. It now transpires the police in Germany is on the hunt for at least 1,000 suspects in the case. If that's true this is a massive case of organized Sexual Jihad.

ARCHIVE TRUMP COURT CASES: June 5 - June 8, 2016

Live Blog

The court case against Trump University will come to a head only in November 2016, the month of the actual US Presidential elections. Trump could settle, but refuses to do so as a matter of principle. The Democrats see in the case a main argument against their rival. Reason to follow the interesting issue up close. Update: Trump eventually settled the case.

US District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel is a member of the La Raza Lawyers of San Diego and oversaw the gift of a law school scholarship to an illegal alien. (More)

Donald Trump has just released a statement regarding the controversy. Unfortunately common sense has now sunk so deep, there is confusion about political activism, heritage, ethnicity, induction and deduction.
It is unfortunate that my comments have been misconstrued as a categorical attack against people of Mexican heritage. I am friends with and employ thousands of people of Mexican and Hispanic descent. The American justice system relies on fair and impartial judges. All judges should be held to that standard. I do not feel that one’s heritage makes them incapable of being impartial, but, based on the rulings that I have received in the Trump University civil case, I feel justified in questioning whether I am receiving a fair trial. Over the past few weeks, I have watched as the media has reported one inaccuracy after another concerning the ongoing litigation involving Trump University. There are several important facts the public should know and that the media has failed to report. (More)

In the previous posting we had a look at the rationalism on display by the GOPe and even some 'smart' Conservatives like Gingrich. It says that ancestry, heritage and DNA do not matter, ever! The problem is in the 'ever'. Another point of view is on offer in an item on RealClearPolitics. There's precedent --  even tradition -- of criticizing and questioning independent judges. Ancestry and heritage do matter! But if has nothing to do with racism. "To many liberals, all white Southern males are citizens under eternal suspicion of being racists. The most depressing thing about this episode is to see Republicans rushing to stomp on Trump, to show the left how well they have mastered their liberal catechism."
Trump's real hanging offense was that he brought up the judge's ancestry, as the son of Mexican immigrants, implying that he was something of a judicial version of Univision's Jorge Ramos. Apparently, it is now not only politically incorrect, but, in Newt Gingrich's term, "inexcusable," to bring up the religious, racial or ethnic background of a judge, or suggest this might influence his actions on the bench. But these things matter. Does Newt think that when LBJ appointed Thurgood Marshall, ex-head of the NAACP, to the Supreme Court, he did not think Marshall would bring his unique experience as a black man and civil rights leader to the bench? Surely, that was among the reasons Marshall was appointed. (More)

What is La Raza's "Nation of Aztlan"?

The case against Trump U. will be with us for the entire USA2016 campaign. The judge has postponed the hearing until November, smack in the middle of the actual Presidential elections. Therefore it can't hurt to explore and follow the matter closely. Liberals -- and that includes some 'Conservatives' like Speaker Paul Ryan and former Speaker Newt Gingrich -- are referring to the correct premise that a man's heritage, extraction, race or DNA has nothing to do with his ideas. But they are taking the logic a step further. They are throwing context and deduction aside and come up with the fallacy that THEREFORE every member of a minority is impartial BY DEFINITION! Clearly that is not the case! The Hispanic judge presiding over the Trump U. case -- Judge Gonzalo Curiel -- certainly isn't! Let's have a look at the context.

Trump wants to build a wall between the US and Mexico, ban illegal migrants and send those in the country back to their country of origin, back to the end of the line to start an actual legal immigrstion process. The Judge is a member of La Raza. What is La Raza? In the video above the movement is explained. It is a nativist, racist organization that believes the south western part of the US is Mexican terrority on the grounds that only original peoples have a right to their native land.

If we continue that logic to the fullest extent, no man on earth has any right to land, considering every people once was an "invader". The irony is, that liberals have accused Trump of nativist nationalism. That is clearly not the case. But smearing Trump with racism evidently suits Hillary Clinton's narrative.

A second meme rife among liberals is that there are somehow two La Razas: a bad, racist La Raza and a good, inclusive La Raza. This is like saying the Nazi SS was a different organization than the Waffen SS. These were truly different organizations, but they were both still Nazis!

Donald Trump told reporters at an epic news conference in New York on May 31 that he could settle the court case involving Trump University, but that he doesn't want to "because I'm a man of principle." So the case is here to stay for the remainder of the campaign.

Interestingly former White House counsel and Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales -- a Hispanic, non member of La Raza -- wrote the following commentary in a WaPo op-ed:
As a private citizen, Trump has a right to his opinions, regardless of whether others agree with them, or whether others consider them wise, foolish or even dangerous. Trump, of course, is more than a private citizen; as the likely nominee for president of a major political party, he speaks with a voice that carries much weight and, if successful in November, will influence millions of people. Because of this, some commentators have condemned Trump’s suggestion that Curiel step down from the case. These voices have, quite rightly, emphasized the importance of upholding our independent judiciary from baseless attacks by high-level persons from other branches of government. An independent judiciary is extremely important. But that value is not the only one in play here. Equally important, if not more important from my perspective as a former judge and U.S. attorney general, is a litigant’s right to a fair trial. The protection of that right is a primary reason why our Constitution provides for an independent judiciary. If judges and the trials over which they preside are not perceived as being impartial, the public will quickly lose confidence in the rule of law upon which our nation is based. For this reason, ethics codes for judges — including the federal code of conduct governing Curiel — require not only that judges actually be impartial, but that they avoid even the “appearance of impropriety.” That appearance typically is measured from the standpoint of a reasonable litigant. It is crucial to understand the real issue in this matter. I am not judging whether Curiel is actually biased against Trump. Only he knows the answer to that question. I am not saying that I would be concerned about him presiding over a case in which I was a litigant. And if I were a litigant who was concerned about the judge’s impartiality, I certainly would not deal with it in a public manner as Trump has, because it demeans the integrity of the judicial office and thus potentially undermines the independence of the judiciary, especially coming from a man who could be president by this time next year. But none of these issues is the test. The test is whether there is an “appearance of impropriety” under the facts as they reasonably appear to a litigant in Trump’s position. (More)

With present murky statement it becomes clear why there are misunderstandings with the Carson camp. Apparently he's dropping out of tomorrow's debate, but not out of the race. He does not however state this anywhere.

I have decided not to attend the Fox News GOP Presidential Debate tomorrow night in Detroit. Even though I will not be in my hometown of Detroit on Thursday, I remain deeply committed to my home nation, America. I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results. However, this grassroots movement on behalf of “We the People” will continue. Along with millions of patriots who have supported my campaign for President, I remain committed to Saving America for Future Generations. We must not depart from our goals to restore what God and our Founders intended for this exceptional nation. I appreciate the support, financial and otherwise, from all corners of America. Gratefully, my campaign decisions are not constrained by finances; rather by what is in the best interests of the American people. I will discuss more about the future of this movement during my speech on Friday at CPAC in Washington, D.C.

The counting has not been completed yet in all states. Hillary Clinton was the winner for the Dems. But Sanders has raked in enough money to keep him in the race. On the Republican side things are complicated. The GOP can always be trusted to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory: the establishment wants Rubio as a front runner and no other. @StopTrumpPAC should prevent Trump from running against Hillary. The “first-in-the-South”, the Red State South Carolina primary often helps to begin significantly narrowing down the field of candidates following contests in Iowa and New Hampshire. Polling places are open from 7:00am to 7:00pm

The New Hampshire Primary, also known as the first-in-the-nation primary will be the first actual primary vote taking place after the Iowa Caucuses, which are not technically the same as a primary. Unlike Iowa, where the caucus chooses delegates to the county convention, which then choose delegates to a state convention, and then the national convention, the New Hampshire primary chooses the delegates who will serve at the national party conventions which will select the nominee. One of the main differences between a caucus and a primary is that a caucus is organized by the political parties, whereas a primary is organized usually by the state board of elections as a regular election would be.

The rebellion against the Ruling Class continues.

Feb. 1, 2016

In a philosophical analysis of the two Republican top runners -- Trump and Cruz --  the voters in Iowa today have to offset these sets of virtues and vices:

Virtue: Trump is an unapologetic American patriot. He is rich and he likes to win. These are the values that have made America great. They are the result of the pursuit of happiness: an inalienable human right. As a businessman Trump has a pragmatic approach to international diplomacy which may not always reflect Conservative values. But he's also not afraid to confront the bullies at home and abroad.
Vice: Trump is no orthodox Conservative, versed in the finer details of the philosophy. But he doesn't need to internalise them or express them, because he IS the American dream. He is a statist, but one that will put America first, because he knows in his soul that America is a force for the good. He also knows how to deal with statist bullies like Russia and China.

Virtue: An orthodox Conservative with minute understanding of the Constitution and it's underlying philosophy. He doesn't need to think about it; he has internalized it. Cruz has a brilliant mind, and has photographic hearing: he can reproduce a spoken text verbatim. Cruz is a fearless moral warrior.
Vice: There's nothing wrong with Christianity, but it's philosophy has one glaring flaw: altruism. Cruz is an unapologetic Christian. Although Conservative values will prevent him from the worst mistakes, Cruz can't help making sacrifices from time to time because that's his highest value. Personal sacrifices are fine and a man's own choice, but in a President that means sacrificing American interests. And that means sacrificing the good for a lesser good.

Trump keeps challenging the unwritten rules laid down by the partisan elites and their lapdog media. Trump says, it was Fox' statement (tweet) that was the deciding factor to pull out of the GOP debate. But it's a very rational decision as well. Why would he participate in a debate that's designed to embarrass him, if he can get the same exposure and more in an event that's also in a cause he cares about? Why fill the coffers of a corporation that's out for your blood. The fact that Fox invited the anti Trump, Hitler citing, Muslim advocate and illegal alien to ambush Trump proves Fox' hostile intent.

Jan 23, 2016 NRO's scathing indictment of Trump will do very little to dissuade most Republicans from supporting him, D'Souza told Newsmax on January 22.

The internecine war between Trump and Cruz and their supporters (there's a difference) is hard to miss. It's a familiar battle between Pragmatists and Orthodox, between relativists and absolutists. There's something to say for both sides of the equation. Pragmatists like Trump are adaptable and oriented towards compromise, they go morally from non principled to opportunistic, which are all requirements in postmodern consensus politics. Pragmatism is fine as a strategy for action; but it is unsuitable as a comprehensive philosophy, like Conservatism. But a Pragmatist, if he has wisdom, knows how to pick competent advisers and will heed their good council. Trump can attract 'angry' voters from both sides of the aisle. He's a first class communicator, takes no prisoners and is beholden to no one. He is appealing to an electorate that has been battered and abused by the Ruling Class, both from the Left and the Right, and Trump is giving their anger and frustration a voice. If you want to win the elections, Trump's your man.

Those who listened to Glenn Beck the last few weeks, can't have missed his carpet bashing of Trump. Philosophical purism is fine but by definition, it has no place in politics. But reading an open letter to Mark Levin by a professional Trump supporter giving vent to a litany of complaints against his support of Cruz, you start to think that Beck's arguments (and there are many ) pass merit. The intellectual gap between the supporters of Trump and those endorsing Cruz is huge. Here are two ripe specimens:

  • NRO editional "Against Trump" (source)
  • "An Open Letter To Mark Levin" by Lauren Stephens (source)
We would make the argument that Trump and Cruz are two sides of the same coin, and would in fact be the ideal ticket. A victorious campaign needs both form and substance, the changeable and the permanent, Pragmatism and Conservatism. That is, if the internecine trench war isn't going to lead to irreparable harm. In the modern history of the world there has never been a more important election than the present. In the balance is the survival of Western civilization. This year, with the election of a new President of the United States  we will turn the tide of postmodern destruction, or we will succumb to it.

Dec 2, 2015 Alex Jones & Donald Trump Bombshell Full Interview.

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump told Alex Jones the two would be “speaking a lot” in future after a surprise radio interview that rocked the political establishment earlier today. The Donald joined Jones live from Trump Tower in New York City for a 35 minute discussion on everything ranging from Hillary Clinton’s corruption, to ISIS, to his most recent controversy about Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11. At the end of the interview, Trump made reference to the mere fact of him appearing on the show, suggesting it would cause waves. (Source)

Few realize there is an annual Convention of international Social Democrat Parties in which the policies, tactics and strategeries are set out. The flight from the political middle of the road that was the norm since Pragmatists Bill Clinton and Tony Blair co-opted the mixed economy (Capitalism combined with the welfare state) to ideological Purism is actually very perceptive. The voters are done with 50 shades of grey nuances that is neither Left nor Right, good nor evil, and all moral relativism. Conservatives and Liberals should take note of this trend back to the extreme wing of Socialism. Sanders in the US could be a fluke, Corbyn in the UK could be a coincidence. But the Left crowing red dawn all over Europe isn't. This new direction is particularly dangerous because of the Left's undeclared allegiance with the forces of Islam. What we can expect is more anti-Semitism in all its forms, Islamic extremism including apologetics for Hezbollah, Hamas and the Islamic State, hatred of Western values translating into policies that are suicidal for Liberty, reason and free enterprise.

The Death of the Political Center

August 17, 2015 Sean Hannity Interviews Glenn Beck on Donald Trump, Conservatism, the Constitution and Beck's new book, "It Is About Islam".

The grassroots are hungry for politicians who do what they say and say what they do. The popular backlash against the Ruling Class has become visible in the surge of politicians as Trump and Wilders. (Source) Loudmouths that go against the pernicious petty tyranny of political correctness. (Source) Many have come to hate the PC weapon for mind and language control so hevemently, they don't care anymore how we get to realize the main policy points like the border question, the moral approach to foreign policy, and the primacy of liberty and constitutionalism. But disdain for the fundamentals is the same 'end justifies the means' mentality as displayed by the current crop of politicians. The Trumps and the Wilders' of this world do have an important role to play as the shock troops against the status quo. But at the same time we must recognize that for building and execution of the principles other requirements are necessary.

On the Left side of the aisle Pragmatists are making place for old fashioned, steeled Marxists like Jeremy Corbyn in the UK and Bernie Sanders in the US. If that means the Left is also fed up with the lies and manipulations of the Pragmatists is too early to say. This is probably less a matter of backlash than it is organic development. The Left is changing one or two of its fundamentals every 20-30 years or so. (Source) Michael Barone terms the Pragmatists, the Center-Left and has following musings:
How can we explain the rejection by American Democrats and British Labourites of center-left strategies that recently proved so successful? One explanation is that people are acting out of principle. Left-wing Democrats and Labourites love to hear candidates echo those of their beliefs that are unpopular with the wider electorate. (Right-wing Republicans love this, too.) (...) What these constituencies have in common is an angry rejection of the center-left political formula that only recently produced impressive party victories. The first black president was able to corral 51 percent for re-election and retains enough loyalty to keep most Democrats from grumbling about his performance. But the leftward lunge so visible at Sanders rallies and Corbyn hustings pushes their parties to extreme positions and splinters what were majority coalitions. The strange death of the center-left threatens to make Britain solidly Conservative again and consign the Democratic Party to unanticipated minority status.

Hannity and Beck on Trump and the 2016 US Elections

Over the weekend two of America's leading Conservative talk show hosts exchanged views on Trump and his principles, or more precisely, the lack thereof. Our perspective on the Donald has been outlined in an earlier posting entitled "Trump and Wilders: Middle Finger To the Ruling Class". The Left versus Right dichotomy isn't dead. Words have meaning. But what we also see juxtaposed is the concept of Country Class versus Ruling Class as coined by Angelo Codevilla: the people against the elites. (Source) But a third division has become visible that hasn't reached the surface yet, but is very much in evidence: absolutism versus relativism. Or in political terms: Ideology versus Pragmatism. We will try to dig further into the matter in the coming months. Political Pragmatism is an actual philosophy espoused in the last decades by politicians as Tony Blair and Bill Clinton. The 'practical' approach has since overtaken the entire political world. But there are signs that Pragmatism has now run its course.

Part 2 of the Interview.

Pragmatism is officially rooted in 19th Century America. Unofficially its principles are much older. The philosophy of Pragmatism is a rejection of the idea that the function of thought is knowledge of objective reality. Instead, pragmatists consider thought to be a product of the interaction between organism and environment. The function of thought is a tool for prediction, action, and problem solving, not for knowledge of reality as such. According to Pragmatism, philosophical topics—such as the nature of knowledge, language, concepts, meaning, belief, and science—must be seen in terms of their practical uses and successes rather than in terms of accuracy. It leads to a very curious, irrational and amoral world view. This makes Pragmatism exceedingly dangerous. There is but one principle underlying the philosophy: there are no principles. In practical terms it answers the question why, with 'because we can'. The moral standard is expediency and opportunity. The moral justification: the end justifies the means. More on Pragmatism in "Machiavelli, the Pragmatist".
