ARCHIVE TOMMY ROBINSON: June 29, 2013 - May 28, 2018

Looks like the British rulers made a serious miscalculation. Tommy is getting support from all over the globe, even from the most unlikely corners. Word has come out that Tommy has already been attacked in prison; and that he's asking his supporters to stay mum in order not to provoke the Government (Tweet). We have no way of corroborating these rumors. So unless news is coming from his lawyer, handle this with care! We keep reminding that the top brass of the UK police has been heavily infiltrated by fascisistic Common Purpose thugs (dossier) "leading beyond their authority".

The root of the problem is moral cowardice on the part of Western Governments like Theresa May's. It is far easier to suppress and jail the critics than having ISIS bombs in the streets. It's Stockholm syndrome at its worst. They should listen to the British giant statesman Winston Churchill, who on the aftermath of the signing of the Munich Treaty which gave Czecho-Slovakia to the Nazis in return for "peace in our time"; in less that a year the world was at war with Nazi Germany:
You Were Given The Choice Between War And Dishonor. You Chose Dishonor And You Will Have War.
On another level you could say that this is nothing less than racism on the part of the cowards: they're punishing truth tellers for "incitement", not expecting Muslims to exert any self control; they are being treated as sub humans with no free will. That is the racism of low expectations!

⏩ Here's some news about the legal aspects of the case:

⏩ But there's more going on:

"Tommy is working on a documentary and says in the video to have discovered a case in Rotherham in which the police suppressed evidence".
"When Tommy was arrested he was about to finish a project that would reveal how the media and the state are cooperating to cover up the mass rape of minors in the UK".

Tommy Robinson is in jail. Rubbing salt in the wound it's illegal in the UK to report that he is in jail. If anything happens to Tommy during his prison sentence, no-one will be allowed to say anything about it. Here's the story according to lawyer @WillChamberlain
A year ago, Tommy was convicted of Contempt of Court for filming 4 defendants who were alleged to have gang-raped a young woman. His sentence was suspended. (Source) Tommy argued that he didn't intend to derail the trial. Under UK law, that doesn't matter - there is *strict liability* for *criminal* contempt charges. We don't have a ton of detail on the court proceedings today, but it sounds like a similar set of facts to a year ago - Tommy was livestreaming outside the courthouse, arrested, his suspended sentence was revoked and some additional time was tacked on. (Source) The really interesting question - how on earth the judge could BAN REPORTING on the trial - shows yet again how insane UK law is. Judge Marson's order cites section 4(2) of the 1981 Contempt of Court act justifying the reporting ban. This provision allows the court to ban TRUE and ACCURATE reporting about a criminal case. Once the judge issues this order, publishing TRUE and ACCURATE accounts of the case is a CRIME. (Source)

This rationale wouldn't fly in the United States - as @Timcast put it, thank God for the First Amendment. (Also due thanks - the Supreme Court in New York Times v. United States.) And we should be thankful. Courts, and the Crown, are abusing reporting restrictions like crazy. In one case, the Court banned truthful reporting on a terrorism trial *after the trial was over*.

Read that Orwellian language. Reporting on Tommy's imprisonment is "necessary to avoid a substantial risk of prejudice to the administration of justice in *these* proceedings." That makes no sense! There's no jury trial for contempt of court! He's already been sentenced! This is an incredible abuse of reporting restrictions, which already are a noxious instrument in the hands of the UK government. Judge Marson convicted Tommy of Contempt of Court, and banned anyone from reporting on - or criticizing - her actions. Abuse. Of. Power.

In short: The UK is a police state. The UK government can throw people in jail, and ban anyone from talking about why they did so. Appalling and contemptible.

ADDENDUM: I got the name of the judge wrong. It's Geoffrey Marson, not Denise Marson. Apologies!

ADDENDUM 2: It was inaccurate to say that strict liability is the standard for ALL criminal contempt proceedings in the UK. The strict liability rule applies to publishers, and there's an exception for true and accurate reporting.

Tommy’s brain scan has come back clear and they have diagnosed him with Post Concussion Syndrome and is taking medication for the blinding headaches he is suffering with. Tommy along with his wife and friends were at a Club in Essex, causing no problems whatsoever. They decided to leave and Tommy’s wife and friends went to use the toilets and collect their coats and Tommy went to wait outside. When they got outside there was no sign of Tommy and after looking they got a taxi back to their Hotel hoping to find Tommy there but they didn’t. (...) At no time was Tommy in an altercation as alleged by an anonymous 3rd party source, he was cowardly attacked from behind and Tommy never saw who done it.

Tommy Robinson, an organiser behind the anti-Islamisation group PEGIDA UK, has been found unconscious after a night out with his family. He is said to have sustained head injuries, and is now recovering in hospital. “Tommy attacked – for those of you asking how he is, he is okay”, his personal assistant Helen Lel Gower revealed on Facebook yesterday. The attack is thought to have occurred on Saturday night. “He was on a night out with his wife and was found unconscious”, wrote Mrs. Gower. Adding: “They have been at the hospital all night and he has had his head glued up, yet again!”

Feb 8, 2016 Tommy Robinson tells the truth about Mohammad on Al Jazeera, but it's too explosive for them to broadcast!

Al Jazeera English was called out by a guest Monday for removing criticism of Islam from a segment that aired on the network. Tommy Robinson, a strong critic of Islam, appeared on “Inside Story” to offer his thoughts on the religion. Using his phone, Robinson recorded the entire segment. It began with host Peter Dobbie trying to trick Robinson by reading supposed Quran quotes that were actually from the Old Testament. “When you hear those quotes, what do you think that speaks to?” Dobbie asked. Robinson wasn’t fooled. “I’d ask you why you’re reading the Old Testament to me,” he fired back. “I’m not stupid.” Robinson then went on to slam Islam, blasting Prophet Muhammad as a violent pedophile. The criticism Robinson leveled against the religion was all captured by his phone — but it never made it on air. Instead, Al Jazeera edited the clip to remove the criticism from the program. Robinson, however, saved it and uploaded a video Monday to show the portion of the interview that was removed. Al Jazeera, owned in part by the ruling family of Qatar, acknowledged the segment was edited in a statement provided to a conservative website. (...) (Source) <O @rgenci57

Dec 14, 2015 Alex Jones Show: watch Tommy Robinson at 1'24".

In the interview with Alex Jones, Tommy Robinson tells more of his life's story and how he did not just have to deal with aggressive Muslims and vicious liberals, but also with the might of the state, which has come down on him like a ton of bricks. It's truly scary the extent they are willing to go to silence critics. It requires a special character to withstand such pressure. The fact that the British police is heavily infiltrated by Common Purpose may have something to do with it. Nevertheless, it is becoming plain that Western Governments are perfectly willing to do whatever it takes to silence the critics of Islam. We have already seen various cases of prosecution (not to say persecution). Think of Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff in Austria (source), and Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, who is presently looking forward to a second trial for "hate speech" and "insulting a group" (source).

Robert Spencer - who was banned from Britain together with counter Jihad activist, Pamela Geller - today isn't happy with Melanie Phillips' appeasement of British class society and it's disdain for the EDL. He maintains that "British class distinctions are behind much of the sniffing at the EDL, and readiness to accept Leftist/Islamic supremacist propaganda about it on the part of people who would otherwise reject that propaganda." But, he writes:
"I am an American. We don't have social classes here. Anyone who works for the freedom of speech and equality of rights of all people, and rejects the genuine thuggishness and authoritarianism of the Left and its Islamic supremacist allies, is A-OK with me. (Source)

Although Tommy and Kev are being held in custody there is enough evidence to suggest that the Met Police are now enforcing Sharia Law and are enforcing Non-Muslim zones in our capital city London. This will add to our reasons for our National Demonstration in Tower Hamlets East London Saturday 24th August. We hope they are both released ASAP. Keep calm all, No Surrender! (Source: EDL on Facebook)

Mr Purcell from the Cowley Club in Brighton is launching a half baked attack on Tommy Robinson

UPDATE: "Compare that to this 2009 video", says Robert Spencer (tweet) on Jihad Watch. Spencer was himself was banned this week from the UK, together with counter Jihad activist Pamela Geller: "Calling us "anti-Muslim" is like calling foes of the Nazis "anti-German."

UPDATE: Arrest took place at approximately 11:25 LT

UPDATE: Tommy Robinson shouted, "You are enforcing Sharia law", at officers who held him on suspicion of obstructing police as he tried to enter the London borough of Tower Hamlets.

UPDATE: What happened?

Sky Correspondent Tom Parmenter is reporting as follows:

"As Robinson and his supporters approached the borough they were warned again by officers who told them they may be arrested. As police officers tried to deal with the situation the EDL leaders continued to walk forward and then a senior policewoman placed the pair under arrest."

"The pair [Robinson and Carroll], who were wearing T-shirts bearing the words "support our troops", were led into a police van in handcuffs while complaining about their treatment. Two other men were arrested over the assault.

At the start of the walk in Hyde Park, Mr Robinson had said: "There's two of us doing a charity walk.  "They're (police) saying it (Tower Hamlets) is a Muslim area but to me there is no Muslim area, there are just areas of my capital city that if I have to walk from A to B then you have to walk through."

"Obviously I don't want to get arrested and I don't want to get in trouble so we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."

In a statement posted on the EDL's Twitter feed, the group said: "Tommy Robinson & Kev Caroll arrested for obstructing the police and carted off." The statement claimed "negotiations" for their release were taking place and that the pair still hoped to walk to Woolwich to lay flowers.

Mr Robinson earlier replied to a tweet asking him what weather he was expecting for Saturday: "ill be in a cell by lunch time so won't matter. Ha ha" Mr Robinson and Mr Carroll repeatedly asked if they would actually be arrested before another man approached the pair and assaulted Mr Carroll.

"As police officers tried to deal with the situation the EDL leaders continued to walk forward and then a senior policewoman placed the pair under arrest."

The English Defence League's leader Tommy Robinson has been arrested during a sponsored walk to Woolwich in east London

Tommy Robinson is arrested and led away in handcuffs.

The English Defence League's leader Tommy Robinson has been arrested during a sponsored walk to Woolwich in east London, where he wanted to lay flowers for slain serviceman, Drummer Lee Rigby.

Tommy Robinson was detained on suspicion of obstructing police as he tried to enter the London borough of Tower Hamlets, on the way to Woolwich, where Rigby was brutally attacked by two Muslims with cleavers and machetes in May.

The co-leader of the EDL, Kevin Carroll, was also arrested outside Aldgate East Tube station in east London.

Tommy Robinson, wearing a T-shirt with "support our troops", was led into a police van in handcuffs.  The sponsored walk was planned to raise money for a young girl fighting cancer.

Reacting to the Met's decision before he was detained, Mr Robinson had said: "The police are enforcing no-go zones for non-Muslims. It's a charity walk with two people taking part. "When has a Muslim charity walk ever been made to have conditions?"

London police said the conditions were imposed because of fears the march would result in "serious public disorder" and it had warned that a breach would lead to arrest. They wanted the EDL to avoid the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, which is home to the East London Mosque.

Police said notice under the Public Order Act 1986 imposed a route on the proposed procession of EDL members and supporters starting at Hyde Park Corner and ending at Old Palace Yard. The force said the public assembly could only take place at Old Palace Yard opposite the House of Lords and last for a maximum of two hours.
