The annual Bilderberg Convention 2014 will be held from Wednesday May 28 through to Sunday June 1st at the Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark

UPDATE: If there was a smither of more openness last year in the UK, apart from the morsel that was thrown at us yesterday in the form of @DiederikSamsom, this gathering was more closed than ever. Unless something turns up tonight or tomorow.

In the early days, American columnist Westbrook Pegler discovered that a grouping of the rich and powerful began huddling every year under one roof—inside luxury hotels but away from the bright lights of publicity, while surrounding their meetings with a heavily armed security force. That ring of security still encircles today's Bilderberg Meetings. Pegler's work was noticed by Liberty Lobby, which started the Spotlight newspaper. That newspaper hired James P. Tucker Jr. to get to the bottom of the Bilderberg mystery. When the Spotlight folded, American Free Press rose in its place. Tucker continued following the Bilderberg Meetings for AFP until his death in 2013. (Source)

Mark Anderson, received the gavel from Tucker to cover Bilderberg. Mark will explain his coverage and knowledge of Bilderberg.

A cloak of secrecy has descended around the site of the 2014 Bilderberg Group conference in Copenhagen after two reporters were arrested inside the Marriott Hotel for refusing to delete footage of Bilderberg organizers who were confronted about their role in planning the clandestine meeting. (...) it was soon made very apparent that security preparations were in full swing, with the second floor of the hotel completely out of bounds for guests, as security staff working on behalf of Bilderberg made regular patrols around the both inside and outside the premises. People with cameras, whether they were taking photos or not, were harassed and ordered not to take pictures, as Bilderberg organizers began to gather in the lobby of the Marriott. (...) Other security procedures illustrate the paranoia which routinely surrounds Bilderberg, including ice cream sellers a mile away from the hotel being told by police to watch out for “suspicious individuals.” Large barricades were being erected around the site of the Marriott this morning as the Bilderberg wall of secrecy began to descend. Yesterday Bilderberg put out a press release detailing the official talking points to be addressed at this year’s meeting. This is not the primary agenda. There isn't any. But it does provide a clue as what kind of subjects have the attendants' attention:
  • Is the economic recovery sustainable?
  • Who will pay for the demographics?
  • Does privacy exist?
  • How special is the relationship in intelligence sharing?
  • Big shifts in technology and jobs
  • The future of democracy and the middle class trap
  • China’s political and economic outlook
  • The new architecture of the Middle East
  • Ukraine
  • What next for Europe?
  • Current events

Burning topics for this year's agenda

This is a crucial time for the 120 or so globalists set to attend the secretive confab, with Russia’s irredentism in Ukraine and the anti EU resistance sweeping Europe, posing a serious threat to the new One World Order Bilderberg spent over 60 years to build. This year's convention will center around solutions to derail the ungoing political awakening that threatens to hinder Bilderberg’s long standing agenda to centralize power into a one world political federation, a vision set out as long ago by the reactionary anti philophers Kant and Hegel. It has been the ultimate aim of the international progressive movement ever since.
The goal is to be advanced with the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), which will undoubtedly be a central topic of discussion at this year’s meeting. TTIP represents an integral component of Bilderberg’s aim that connects the United States with Europe.

Just as the European Union started as a mere free trade area and was eventually transformed into a political federation which controls upwards of 70 per cent of its member states’ laws and regulations. TTIP is designed to accomplish the same, but on a bigger scale.

In Denmark the buzz is concentrated on the victory of the Danish People’s party that won 27% of the vote in the Euro elections and doubled its number of MEPs. This success reflects a general resentment across Europe towards immigration and the economic crisis, concerns that the EU has only exasperated.

In France, the Front National is carving out a role as the face of right-wing Socialism that poses a real threat for federal Europe. France's establishment is in a state of shock.

Voters in the United Kingdom delivered a thumping rejection of the EU with the success of UKIP that some are labeling the 'most extraordinary election result for 100 years'.

Bilderberg will be tackling a number of other key issues, such as the continued effort to centralize economic power, including a carbon tax paid directly to the United Nations, providing that amoral body with a tax base. The same goes for the EU and the tax in financial transactions. Raising taxes is the ultimate competence of a true state.

The rumbling crisis in Ukraine and the relationship between Russia and NATO will also be a focal point of Bilderberg 2014. Globalists now consider Putin to have excluded Russia from the NWO. Bilderberg will discuss fears that Putin is intent on constructing an alternative world order based around the BRICS countries in competition with the US-EU-NATO axis.

Marriott Copenhagen Confrms 'Special Event'

March 31, 2014

Bilderberg is an annual convention, founded by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands (grandfather of the current king) is aiming to maintain a contuned dialogue between the European and North American continents. Some 120 to a 150 politicians and leaders of industry and science are invited each year to participate in the event. About two thirds of the guests are from Europe, a third is from North America. One third is from the world of politics and governance, one third stems from the private sector. The convention is a forum for informal discussions about mega trends and other important subjects concerning the world. The meetings are held under Chatham House Rule, meaning that the participants are free to dispose of any information gathered at the event, but that the source will not be disclosed, nor the identity of any of the other participants. Thanks to this secretive character of the conference the guests are not subject to any of the usual proprieties connected to their position; also they will not be held to account for any prior views. Participants have the time to listen en gain insights at their leisure. There's no agenda, there are no resolutions, no voting and no policy declarations. Precisely that is the problem for free citizens: the lack of transparency and democratic accountability. The media are not welcome at the events. Last year in Watford, England this rule was relaxed tentatively: after the event the BBC had a short news item and a debate in the House of Commons was held (see our live blog 2013). The 62nd Bilderberg Conference will be held towards the end of May in Denmark. We are keeping you posted on present live blog.
